I... didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would. It was driven by EXACTLY who you’d expect, a blue hair couple, but looks kinda like a funky 90s-futuristic convertible SUV thing that makes no sense.

My dad wanted one of these. I convinced him a turbo 4 Camaro convertible is better.

These things have a surprising amount of presence actually.
Partially cause they look so HUGE for a “small” car.

You sound like you’re describing a Murano CrossCabriolet.

Funny, I experienced kinda the opposite. I was watching them with interest even back when Opel first came out with them and took the opportunity to see one in person at an auto show when the Buick version came out. Once I saw it in the metal, I lost all interest.

As opposed to the AMC Eagle Sundancer, which was a funky 80s-futuristic convertible SUV thing that made no sense.

That roof looks strangely familiar...

Yep - Griffith converted both. I’ve been secretly hoping somebody on Oppo will get a Sundancer so they can do some kind of Wonder Twins fusion thing with ImmoralMinority. Just ‘cause.

So THAT’S what that was! I saw one, too.

I like the Cascada’s looks. Always have. It doesn’t try to be what it’s not and is just a relaxed cruiser type car that happens to be a convertible. I’m sure they’re popular rental cars in places like Hawaii and Florida.

Fun Fact: At six feet tall I can fit in the back without needing to cut my legs off, the down side is that I need a crane in order to get in and out of the back.

Probably a good choice, honestly.

tbh it looks like a shrunken convertible previous gen Ford Edge

Looks like a previous gen Ford Edge with a more raked windshield and a new face. All blobby and roundy

I like those - a great Buick convertible. Not for everybody but if you are in the market for a convertible cruiser you could do worse.

I don’t know, the fact that the windshield almost totally covers the front seating area almost defeats the point of a convertible.
